ROLFING®

Terence Ollivierra

60 Minutes $125
90 Minutes $175
120 Minutes $225

Terence is a certified Rolfer®️ & Iyengar Yoga instructor.

What is Rolfing Structural Integration?

Named after its founder, Dr. Ida P. Rolf, Rolfing®️ SI is a form of bodywork that reorganizes the connective tissues, called fascia, that permeate the entire body. The body is inherently a system of seamless networks of tissues rather than a collection of separate parts. These connective tissues surround, support and penetrate all of the muscles, bones, nerves and organs. Stress and trauma cause a shortening and tightening, creating discomfort and a loss of resiliency.

Rolfing works with this web-like complex of connective tissues to bring the body back into its youthful elastic, adaptable state. The Rolfing process enables the body to regain the natural integrity of its form, improving postural alignment and enhancing efficiency of movement. It revitalizes your energy and allows you to breath deeper and stand taller with less effort, lighter and looser. All Rolfing sessions with Terence begin and end with a few minutes of Core Synchronism, a mechanical system of hand medicine designed to restore harmony and establish balance resulting in activating an individual’s self-healing ability.

Athletes, office workers, and yogis can all derive benefit from Rolfing, as it fixes imbalances and their sources. This work is recommended for injuries (old and recent), neck pain and restricted movement, chronic back pain, thoracic outlet syndrome (TOS), carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS), temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders, joint pain or arthritis, migraine or headaches, restricted breathing, aftermath of any trauma, accidents, or surgery as well as surgery avoidance, and plantar fasciitis, among others.
