  • Metered parking available on Washington Ave. (free before 11am and on Sundays). Free public 2-hour parking available at the South Lafayette Structure directly behind the studio on Lafayette Ave.

  • Shower, change rooms and drinking fountain are available. Sanitized mats are available to rent.

  • First class is free for local students. New Student Special: 5 classes for $25 (one month expiration).

The Original Citizen Yoga

Our Royal Oak yoga studio is conveniently located in the heart of downtown Royal Oak, Michigan. Our flagship location opened in 2013 and quickly became metro Detroit’s Best yoga studio as voted every year by Hour Magazine.

We are proud to offer over 40 in-studio yoga classes and over 30 online classes each week including: vinyasa, blend, yin, basics, yinyasa, slow burn and more.

During the warmer months, we also offer outdoor yoga classes in the breezeway just outside the studio.

All Royal Oak city-owned parking garages offer first 2 hours for free. We recommend parking at the garage on Lafayette between 4th and 6th, just a short walk through the breezeway.
