Grab your yoga mat and head down to Comerica Park on Saturday, June 15th for Yoga Day!
Citizen Yoga and The Barre Code of Metro Detroit have partnered with the Detroit Tigers to hold a yoga class in centerfield before the Tigers take on the Cleveland Indians. The class starts at 9:00 a.m. and will conclude at 10:00 a.m. Check in begins at 8:00 a.m. [Instructors: Kacee Must from Citizen Yoga and Lindsay Irrer from Barre Code of Metro Detroit]
Each ticket package comes with a Detroit Tiger’s yoga mat!
*All participants must leave the ballpark until gates open 90 minutes prior to the game.
Saturday Stroll in the Belt: Yoga + Music + Art on July 13, 2019 11:00 am
Join Deluxx Fluxx and Citizen Yoga for a Saturday Stroll in The Belt! Start with a 1 hour yoga class led by Paul Witherspoon and Soojin Kim with music by Mehul, followed by cocktails, food, giveaways, and vendors! Sponsors of the event include Good Neighbor, The Siren Hotel, Manduka and Saint Andrew’s Hall!

Join Kacee Must, owner/founder of Citizen Yoga, for an amazing yoga experience on the field at the Big House sponsored by Somerset Collection. The yoga class will be followed by a short conversation with Eric Hipple and Julie and Scott Halpert regarding their own journey with mental health and suicide.
Eric Hipple is a former Detroit Lions player who has dedicated his life to educating people about depression, mental health and suicide prevention.
Garrett’s Space is a nonprofit founded by Julie and Scott Halpert after the tragic loss of their son, Garrett, to suicide in 2017. Garrett’s Space is dedicated to ultimately establishing a welcoming and holistically focused residential center in Washtenaw County for young adults experiencing mental health challenges. The nonprofit is also working to prevent suicide by providing programs in the community that promote mental health, healing, self-worth and resiliency in young adults, including yoga and peer-to-peer support.
